Informational interviews are a great way to learn more about creative professions, build confidence, help make career choices, and more. In addition to learning more about the career development of artists, students, and young artists oftentimes need to reach out to professional artists for school assignments.
Informational interviews are available to all art students, or equivalent, for free of charge.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR AN INFORMATIONAL INTERVIEW?
Reaching out to artists builds networking and professional skills. Before your informational interview, a great practice is to write down 5 questions you have for the artist you are going to talk to.
